(AI) Website Builders

Primary Features

AI website builders offer a wide range of features that go beyond those of standard platforms where you have to create the site manually - oftentimes, website designers have to use one application to design the website and another one to host it.

Website Design: Have a fully designed website in under a minute by writing a prompt that details how you want your website to look. Similar to the way you write prompts in ChatGPT or other applications, the more detail the better your result will be.

An example prompt may be:

'“Build me a website for my architectural practice named ‘HeritageStudios’, design it with bright and contrasting colours with the home page displaying past projects and an about us section at the bottom explaining the type of work my firm does.” Then let the AI do the rest.

Content and Website Copy: Suggests written content to fill your site and improve its appearance based on relevant details provided about your firm or practice.

Website Replication: Have a template of a website you want your own to look similar to? Many AI website builders can analyze a URL from another site and create similar designs.

SEO Suggestions: A good way to increase SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is through the use of highly rated words based on Google algorithms. Many AI website builders can recommend ways to improve SEO. This may help increase the traffic to your site from organic search.

Logos: If your company does not have a logo yet, AI can generate multiple options to help you get started.

Code Generation: There are AI website builders out there that enable prompts to generate lines of code that are associated with your design. This is useful if you use sites like WordPress to run your website since you can input code to transfer website designs. It also helps save time and money over hiring a website developer.

CodeWP is a great tool to seamlessly generate code for your website.

5. Webflow is a drag-and-drop software that is a bit more intricate because it lets you create fully functioning software applications for your site. This offers ways to integrate ChatGPT or other LLM’s through public APIs. If you require your site to handle low-code applications then Webflow is a great website builder.
